Hi All
This was my question regarding using the words basicmindfulness and below is a reply from Todd Mertz, hope this is useful for other people:
"Would it be ok for me to use basicmindfulness.blogspot.co.uk or would you prefer me to use something else?"

Hi Bob,
This is fine. We're going with a Creative Commons mentality around the name Basic Mindfulness and in regards to the overall system as well. Have you seen Tord's website or Sabine's? If not, send them emails and share your link. That way you'll all be able to share your web presences with one another.
Basically, I've asked that people not claim websites like basicmindfulnesseurope.whatever--or something along those lines, anything that is bigger than what they are actually doing. I also ask that people not snatch up more basicmindfulness domain names than what they will actually use; this allows someone else to differentiate their work and website, potentially, as basicmindfulnesslondon.co.uk (for example). Last request is that people not use basicmindfulness in a URL that includes anything obviously offensive or pornographic. Within those bounds, you pretty much have our blessing and encouragement. Your success with the name increases the outreach of the name, so we're solidly behind your success.
Please feel free to share this general attitude among our group for this European project and encourage anyone and everyone to verify with me as necessary.
